Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Topline app, operated by Alex Saint, established in France. By using the app you agree to them. French law applies and the courts of France have jurisdiction.
What Topline is
Topline is a cosmetic self-tracking tool. It estimates a hairline score from photos and tracks it over time. It is informational only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace a qualified professional. Scores are estimates and may vary with photo quality.
Your account
Topline creates an anonymous account on your device — no email or password. You are responsible for the device that holds it. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app's Settings.
Acceptable use
- Scan only your own face and scalp, or those of a person who has explicitly consented.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
Subscriptions & billing
- Topline offers a free tier (one full scan per month, your current score, stage, and verdict) and a paid Pro subscription that unlocks the full zone breakdown, archive, trend, compare, and plan.
- Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account at the price shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel or refund on Apple's behalf; refunds are handled by Apple.
- Prices may change; we will give notice in-app before any change affects you.
No medical claims
Topline does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Any product or routine mentioned in the app is general information, not a prescription or recommendation to treat a medical condition. Consult a professional for medical concerns.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on scores, which are cosmetic estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory French or EU consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
